Commodore Lives!!
Apr 17th, 2012, 7:25pm

Commodore is still alive an' kickin' it seems like, even though it's founder died recently. They have new machines an' have even remade a classic with a few mods, of course. Ya can find more here:

MY favorite is the Amiga http://www.commodoreusa.net/CUSA_AMIGAmini.aspx

Though this new slim design is interestin' too:  http://commodore.net/CUSA_VicSlim.aspx

Nice ta see a classic live on.

Well the cowboy, like the red man, you had to leave your land
You can't raise your stock and plant your crop in the gumbo and the sand
Greed disguised as progress has put us to the test
They won't be glad until we're gone from our home out in the west
It's sad to see those good old days replaced with greed and doubt
Soon we'll leave the country, the campfire has gone out
Bid 'em all adieu, you can't turn the world about
The cowboy left the country, the campfire has gone out

I remember Jack Tramiel back in the 1980s. Still have my Vic20 and C64, and even a rare Plus4 and an old PET 2001. Great machines then, the new Commodores - great machines now.

I've used or worked on some of those models years ago. Had an' ol' Tandy for a while too. they don't make them like that anymore.
