AliExpress is selling the Banana Pi models which were not accessible to the open market before.
 
The Banana Pi M1 is the original model once sold with Lemaker. It used to go for over $50 when it first came out in 2013. It was the first Multi-Core (Dual Core) CPU Arm system board out there, and had a lot of extras besides Dual CPU and 1GB of RAM. It was a very powerful machine for its time and it still is in many regards. It was to the the Raspberry Pi Killer. But thanks to corporate politics and poor user support, it was not to be. Its on sale for $34. I own 2, it is a great machine.
 
The Banana Pi M1+ follows the M1 like the Raspberry Pi Model B+ follows the Raspberry Pi Model B. Changes include: expanded 40 GPIO, and Micro SD Card instead of the large SD Card. It is also the first board to have built-in Wifi. It is on sale for $37.
 
The Banana Pi M2+, M2+ EDU & M2+ Ultra is their first Quad Core system (but not 64 bit, just like the Raspberry Pi 2). All three are on a small board. The M2+ and M2+ EDU are the same with 1GB of RAM except the M2+ has Wifi and the M2+ EDU does not. The M2+ is $33 and the M2+ EDU is $22. The M2+ Ultra has 2GB of RAM, Wifi & BlueTooth and 8GB of FlashRAM. It goes for $50.
 
The Banana Pi M3 is an Octa-Core system with 2GB of RAM and all the "goodies" like the other boards. It goes for $70.
 
The Banana Pi M64 is a 64bit Quad Core CPU with 2GB of RAM. I hear you can boot SD Cards made for the Pine64 system and everything but the Wifi will work, as the Wifi Chip is different. It is much like the Raspberry Pi 3, which is their 64bit system. Pine64 went out of business early last year (2016) but many of their systems are floating around. The B-Pi M64 goes for $50.
