First off - that must be a tiny BANANA!!! The CHIP Is TINY! It's About the size of 2 Raspberry Pi 0's put side by side or 1/2 the size of a Raspberry Pi Board (I used a Model B)!
 
Second... This came with a bottom case and a Composite Video Cable; which the order says that I was getting the CHIP Board only. This is a surprise, though I can't used the Composite Video Cable. Can't boot it up until I get the VGA Board and that is in a month or so. They say that I would get it faster, in 7 days, but I'm not holding my breathe. Its been 3 weeks since I ordered it!
 
Third... I need to check it But I think it has the wireless package (WIFI & BlueTooth) on it. It is supposed to be $9 without it!
 
So all this is interesting. Spec Wise, it is similar to a R-Pi 0:
512MB RAM, 1GHZ Single Core ARM CPU used by the all the other Pi's out there, 1 USB Port. Graphics wise, it has the lastest Mali 400 CPU, which only means that the graphics will be fast on it like on most high end tablets and the Banana Pi. No SD Card Port but does have 4GB of FLASH Memory and already has a Linux OS on it with GUI. That's it. What does one expect for $9?!!
 
Anyways, talking with those on the CHIP Forum, there is a strange option on the board. There is a Battery port on it s you can plug in a Lithium Ion Battery Pack to it and it will run and even charge it when plugged into a charger.
 
But many are complaining about problems and issues - like it not booting or turning off in mid boot when plugged into a keyboard. Its an issue with the Cellphone charger used, they want you to use a 1amp charger, but I think a 1.5 amp charger would solve the problem. The board uses 950mah, so a 1amp charger is cutting it just too close.
 
We will have to wait until I get that VGA Adapter to see it run.
