Gunslinger Bink III: The rules.
 
1) There is no 'Glass House'
-For preservation of Character actions and Character Personas, none, no author can use previous posts as Intell gathering to put characters ahead unless that intell is shared with that character.
If Tammy goes to the bakery to get some bread, no one knows that she did unless she a) told others of where she is going and what to get, and/or b) until she returns with items, and those to see it happen- knows.
 
2) Characters are to be signed up and registered.
 
3) If Characters of real players are being used, then so be it. This is a story. Characters will be (c) to their players, but thats the extent of it.
If Rose, the Naval Officer who resides in the cafe is to be used, then she is part of the story for as long as the story requires. The real Rose can complain, and can do so by right, but a story character is a story character.
 
4) No Introduction of new characters in mid story. See Rule #2.
 
5) No God Characters. In this, no Borg, no super powered cyborgs from the future travelling through time, no specail powers or abilities that is beyond belief. In short, we are keeping it real here. (With the exepction of the story's introduction, but no more!). In short, Superman only exists in comics. Everyone else cuts, bleeds and dies like everyone else.
 
6) Think. Do not get upset if someone has out thought you in a story situation. It is only a story. You have to use your brain for what it can do.

I know this goes against rule #4, but bein' approved by all remainin' writers, I now introduce a new character.
 
Maria Valentine Patterson (usually called Valentine)
 
Age:21 (very mature for her age)
 
Complexion: white, slight farmer tan.
 
Species: Mouse (I write as human still, but for continuity of the story)
 
Hair: dark copper almost brown, hangs down past shoulder blades. Usually worn lose, but occasionally in a pony tail when workin'
 
Eyes: Emerald  
 
Religion: Christian (baptist leanin')
 
Height: 5' 6"
 
Build: lanky, but shapely.  Very good lookin', but definitely country. Very strong, looks are deceivin'.
 
Dress: oil skin outback hat, brown leather bomber jacket or duster (depending on the occasion), beat up black western boots, western snap-up shirts, boot cut blue jeans, brown distressed leather vest and gloves, dark brown coveralls when workin' on machines. Can dress up an' look elegant, real eye catcher, for the right occasion, but rarely does.
 
Attitude: can seem quiet an' reserved sometimes. Not a boaster. dogged determination. very carin', almost cares too much. Hell on wheels when angered or friends are threatened. has a temper, but usually a long fuse. Can seem scatter brained when nervous. one track mind when workin' on a new project. Not a girly girl. can cook, though is no gourmet. can sew but not into makin' things with cloth usually. prefers outdoors, small groups, country. Soft hearted to a fault. Not afraid to show that to others, but afraid to show fears or share past hardships. Afraid to fall in love. acts unaware to most advances. Hurt by men in past experience when younger. Not afraid of Men, but afraid of heart break.
 
Education: Genius. Graduated with double major of Mechanical an' Electrical Engineerin' at age 17 from MIT Started a Masters degree through an' internship, but dropped out within 8 months. No reason given to school. Unofficial gossip an' certain pictures give inside on who an' what hurt her. Finished professional pilots license for most all classes and helicopter by age 19.

History: born on February 14th, hence the middle name Valentine, in Hungry Horse Montana. Mother supposedly dead. last seen when Maria was 4. Father never wanted to talk about what happened. all she knows of extended family was that her father had a fallin' out with his family before he server in the military an' they hadn't spoken since an' her mother's family had black balled them as they did not approve of the marriage. Maria showed genius potential at early age.went to private country school until age 10 when she graduated 6th grade. Did a home style video high school and graduated at 13 knowing 3 new languages. learned mechanics, an' flyin' from father. Helped him part time, an' worked on neighbors ranch part time where she learned to shoot an' hunt while in high school. moved to Arizona at age 14. Father started flyin' more long distance only part time, other part time testin' new aircraft for the government as he had former military flyin' experience.  She stayed with a native American family when her father was gone. They taught her how to track an' live off the land. at age 15 she entered college an' still came home over the summer, where she sometimes flew as her father's co-pilot on long hauls. Father an' daughter were very close. at age 17 she graduated with honors from MIT.  Got a job in Lincoln, NE as an intern an' the company paid for her to get her masters from Lincoln University. 8 months after startin' the engineerin' group at her company had a party. They got drunk, forced her to drink, tore her clothes off, took pictures of them with her nude, an' then attempted to rape her. She was only saved by an elderly janitor an' his young helper. The old man fought off the drunk engineers while the young helper carried her out. The old janitor was beaten badly an' ended up in a coma for 2 months. Maria quit right after. The old janitor ended up havin' to retire, which the company increased his retirement pay an' payed him off with a lump sum to stay quiet. Maria tried to have somethin' done but bein' young no one believed her an' no one backed her story. The young janitor got head janitor position so stayed quiet to keep his job, an' the old janitor wouldn't work anymore so he stayed quiet afraid that he might lose his retirement. She moved to North Platte, NE right away an' took a job fixin' rail road crossin' arms while takin' Kempo Karate. She went back home before the start of the next school year an' told her Father that she wanted to sit out a while. She never told him what happened. Because of all that she kept more to herself an' became more quiet. She did more self defense trainin', strength trainin' an' finished her flight trainin' by age 19. She went to work with the air freight company her father worked for part time. The last time she saw her father he was bein' threatened with a gun by a red headed woman, a big dark haired man, an' a shadowy figure. She hid in fear as she had no weapon on her at that time. They left an' she thought all was alright. Her father flew out  an hour later before she got a chance to talk to him. she had a flight out 2 hours later to Texas. when she returned the control tower gave her a message from her Father. He said he was sorry, but he had to do this as they couldn't win. He also instructed her to get away an' hide 'cause they will be after her next. a couple friends of her father heard about it an' went to her place to spend the night an' help her get out the next day. They were attacked that night. 5 of them fought off the goons while one older feller helped her escape. His name was Kooter. the other 5 all were killed in the fight. Up to this time she had been a bit pacifistic about carryin' guns. She liked them for practisin' on targets an' huntin', though it had been almost 3 years since she handled one. as soon as Kooter helped her get her bi-wing an' land a job with the badland air carriers she bought weapons an' trained herself to be proficient with them. All the while she hunted for leads on the people that were threatenin' her father on that fatal night. Only after Laurie Ann Bartel-Sackett an' Hondo Sackett fight it out at a gas station outside Rome, Italy does she get her first real lead as to where to find her fathers supposed killers.
