Remember my Family in Prayer.
Jun 15th, 2008, 11:09am

My grandmother passed away in her sleep last night. I loved both sets of grandparents the same, but I spent more time with this set and connected better with them. they were the type to spoil you, love you, etc. My family, extended and close are takin' this hard. I know she's in Heaven, now, but its still very hard. My grandfather is crippled and gets depressed easily. He may become suicidal, so he needs pray desperately too. Selfishly, with all i've got goin' on here I had wanted so to get out of here, at least for a week and had it set to go visit them beginnin' of July. The Lord knows, but I wish he'd go ahead and tell us, 'casue I'm at the point of can't take much more. just pray, thats all I ask. Pray for Gods will to be done, for him to be glorified through this, and that even if we cannot see the good in this that he will carry us through.

Well the cowboy, like the red man, you had to leave your land
You can't raise your stock and plant your crop in the gumbo and the sand
Greed disguised as progress has put us to the test
They won't be glad until we're gone from our home out in the west
It's sad to see those good old days replaced with greed and doubt
Soon we'll leave the country, the campfire has gone out
Bid 'em all adieu, you can't turn the world about
The cowboy left the country, the campfire has gone out

Sorry to hear of this.
Shit happens and then there is that smell to deal with.

But in the least, she is in a better place right now and thats what counts. As for grandpa, that is what family is for. Its not easy but when has family ever been easy? It takes a lot of love to deal with this.

You go do what you can and dothe best thereof.
