a little help?
Mar 16th, 2008, 2:35pm

I just acquired, from my computer class, a set of disks that have win server 2003 on it, but I'm not sure what the system requirements are for it. It was free 'casue i'm in a computer science class so I thought I'd grab it while I could, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. anyone know what I need to run this, or is it even worth my time?

Well the cowboy, like the red man, you had to leave your land
You can't raise your stock and plant your crop in the gumbo and the sand
Greed disguised as progress has put us to the test
They won't be glad until we're gone from our home out in the west
It's sad to see those good old days replaced with greed and doubt
Soon we'll leave the country, the campfire has gone out
Bid 'em all adieu, you can't turn the world about
The cowboy left the country, the campfire has gone out

Win Serv 2K3 requires a minimum of what XP does;
P3 @ 400Mhz with 128Megs Ram and 10GB HD.

But that the minimum, and it will run slow on that set up.

You can do good with a P3 @ 700 or better, 512Megs of RAM and asbig of an HD you can put into it. If you can get a P4, better still. But you can get a P3 for next to nothing or in the trash.

You will also need a network card for it.
