Skinnydipping
Oct 29th, 2007, 4:45pm

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Skinnydipping ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 An elderly man in Ocala, Fl. had owned a large farm for
several years.
 He had a large pond in the back, fixed up really nice, alongwith
some
 picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees.
The
 pond was nicely shaped and fixed up for swimming when it was
built.
 One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond and look
it
 over, as he hadn't been there for quite a while. He grabbed a five
 gallon bucket to bring back some fruit.
 As he neared the pond, he heard female voices shouting and
laughing.
 When he came closer, he realized it was a bunch of young women
 skinnydipping in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence
and
 they all went to deeper water to shield themselves.
 One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you
 leave!"
 The old man frowned and replied, "I didn't come down here to watch
you
 ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked." Holding
up
 the bucket, he said, "I'm here to feed the alligator."
 Moral of the story :  Old men may move slow, but that doesn't mean
 they can't still think fast.
Well the cowboy, like the red man, you had to leave your land
You can't raise your stock and plant your crop in the gumbo and the sand
Greed disguised as progress has put us to the test
They won't be glad until we're gone from our home out in the west
It's sad to see those good old days replaced with greed and doubt
Soon we'll leave the country, the campfire has gone out
Bid 'em all adieu, you can't turn the world about
The cowboy left the country, the campfire has gone out
