Title: Raspberry Pi Zero-2?
Post by Fernando on Oct 29th, 2021, 10:11pm

The Raspberry Pi Foundation finally took notice with the Banana Pi and Radxa versions of the Raspberry Pi Zero with a Quad Core Processor and 1GB of RAM (minimum). But it is not what it seems to be, though they kept it under the $20 price.

The Raspberry Pi Zero-2 is the same form factor as previous Raspberry Pi Zeros with the same size/shape and port placement: Mini USB GTO (for powering the unit), 1 Mini USB Port, 1 Mini HDMI Port, SD Card Port, Camera Port, and Unsoldered 40-Pin GPIO with 4 more pins elsewhere on the board for CPU reset Composite Video. But it still has 512MB, claiming that 1GB or more would increase the size of the Raspberry Pi. This is not true as with the Banana or Radxa units - they are 1GB - 8GB or more of RAM and has Built-in Flash RAM and no size change to the board was made. It uses the same ARM Cortex A58 Qaud Core CPU as the Radxa and the Banana Pi and the R-Pi 4.

The Raspberry Pi Zero-2 (R-Pi 0-2) has been out on testing for the past two weeks and those who had it praises it. It is now on sale to the public for $15.

ETA Prime does the review of the Raspberry Pi, giving it praises though his only complaint for it was the small RAM Footprint.

Too bad they can’t get more ram in it. Still looks good though
