Title: RetroPi on OrangePi.

Version 3.01 of RetroOrangePi is available.

Originally created for the O-Pi with the H3 (32bit Quad Core) Systems, it turns out that with some modification of the code, it would work for other boards as well:

Orange Pi Lite, Orange Pi One, Orange Pi PC, Orange Pi PC-Plus, Orange Pi Plus, Orange Pi Plus 2, Orange Pi Plus 2e, and Orange Pi Zero (both 512MB and 256MB- Beta Version)...

As well as:
Banana Pi M2, Plus Beelink X2, and Nano Pi M1

Unfortunately, my Banana Pi is the M1 which uses the A20 (32bit Dual Core CPU) and not the H3 Quad Core. But there is a version for that too, I just need to find it.

Because the Mali 400 Dual Core GPU and the H3 Quad Core CPU used in these systems, RetroOrangePi can run the stronger Game Consoles like the DreamCast, Sega 32X and the Nintendo64 without slowdown or jittering/buffering. It also has the newer MAME system. All this means that more and better options for Retro Game users. This would make a Raspberry Pi choke, even the 64bit Quad Core R-Pi 3, because the GPU is a single Core unit running on a slower MHz.

But there is a Bonus. It has Kodi (through OpenElec) installed as well. It is blank installation where you have to add the channels you want to it (its simple do to but time consuming to do so). But once you have the channels you want, you can enjoy streaming TV on your RetroOrangePi system as well.

The addition of Kodi to RetroOrangePi makes your O-Pi into a home entertainment system.
