Title: Amiga in a Raspberry Pi:3?
Post by Fernando on Aug 11th, 2016, 9:33pm

Interesting webpage. Emulate an Amiga 4000 (68040) on an R-Pi:3.

The Amiga was one of the best graphic systems out there for under $500, along with being one of the first machines to use UNIX within that price range.

This is one of the few Under 1GB downloads and does not mixes itself with other emulators like Retro Pi and Chameleon, which can only emulate an Amiga 600. It uses Raspbian to boot up the basic OS and then loads in the Amiga emulator and the Amiga KickStart OS.

Hope the link still works:  http://gunkrist79.wixsite.com/amibian

Problem: You need to get the Amiga ROMs and the OS from some 3rd company and it is not free. At best it is $10 for the basic set up which gives Amiga 1000/1200 compatibility. $50 for all the ROM and OS Versions up to the Amiga 4000 (last 68K Amiga before they went to PowerPC). And yo uneed to extract if from the Windows emulator they have it in.
