Title: A $5 R-Pi! The Raspberry Pi Zero!
Post by Fernando on Nov 26th, 2015, 3:02pm

It's more like a Raspberry Pi Model A+ but double the RAM (512MB), and a 1GHz CPU! On a smaller board! BUT AT $5!!!

And it is tiny!

What it has:
  • Broadcom BCM2835 application processor
  • 1GHz ARM11 core (40% faster than Raspberry Pi 1)
  • 512MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM
  • A micro-SD card slot
  • A mini-HDMI socket for 1080p60 video output
  • Micro-USB sockets for data and power
  • An unpopulated 40-pin GPIO header
    Identical pinout to Model A+/B+/2B
  • An unpopulated composite video header
  • Our smallest ever form factor, at 65mm x 30mm x 5mm

I see it as a hyped up Model A/A+ on a tiny board. You can put in a USB Wifi in its only USB Port and go from there. I would say one with a larger antenna; and I seen Wifi/BlueTooth USB modules so you can do both.
