Title: a little help? Post by Hondo I. Sackett on Mar 16th, 2008, 2:35pm I just acquired, from my computer class, a set of disks that have win server 2003 on it, but I'm not sure what the system requirements are for it. It was free 'casue i'm in a computer science class so I thought I'd grab it while I could, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. anyone know what I need to run this, or is it even worth my time? Title: Re: a little help? Post by Fernando on Mar 17th, 2008, 4:41pm Win Serv 2K3 requires a minimum of what XP does; P3 @ 400Mhz with 128Megs Ram and 10GB HD. But that the minimum, and it will run slow on that set up. You can do good with a P3 @ 700 or better, 512Megs of RAM and asbig of an HD you can put into it. If you can get a P4, better still. But you can get a P3 for next to nothing or in the trash. You will also need a network card for it. |
