I found a major mod in the YaBB Mod Boards: SubForums
It gives the board ability to add sublevels of forums to the board.

Its huge and not recommended because it is a major rewrite of the board. But even the YaBB and YaBB-mod creators like it so much, they are putting it on YaBB 3- not in YaBB 2.

This board is on YaBB 2, and YaBB 3 is on beta and wont be released for at least another year. Maybe next summer... June '08. But we can have this function as soon as Hondo & I weigh various factors in doing this. I have running on an experimental sever at home, and because its a major rewrite of the software- it took me 3 hours to do.

So keep a HEADS-UP! as for news on this end for this and other Major Modifications to the Board!!!

When started- the forum will be shut down for a day. But when it comes back up... oooh... boy!

The Board now has SubForums, meaning that the forums can have subforums within their topics. For Room owners, that can have their rooms subdivides into other sections.

It was a difficult modification to undertake since it involved a major rewrite of the software!

Only the G-Mods and Admins can add to the level of forums a topic board may have. But the members have to make requests with a supporting point to have them put in. If you're a room owner and would like sub divisions in your room, you have to request for them by asking an Admin or G-Mod.

This will be great for organization of the forum and how it handles its data. Enjoy!

The Major Mod is going great! Just making some minor adjustments in icon positioning and Link sizing. Though most of it has been cleaned up, there are still a couple of minor things to fix. So far I am pleased as to how it to works and looks (minus a couple of little issues). I should be done with the adjustments in a day or two. Its all for looks, not function.

I think I am finished with the adjustmtents in the Major Modifcations of the forum. Tell me what you think?

Finished doing the adjustments of the Major Modifcation's spacing and text alignments! Thus completes the Major Modifications to the board!
