Background:
Heather Roberts was an orphan living in a government funded orphanage in Orlando. She was a joyful, but lonely girl who often took it upon herself to care for the other orphans. She often brushed off questions of her past, although many believed she was a runaway from a distinguished family. Roughly a year ago she was involved in a car accident involving a D.U.I. which left her in a critical state.
Victoria is an expert gunman and fastest among the East Coast Handsome Men in reaction time. Her skills and abilities would make her the East Coast Handsome Men’s premier operative if not for the fact she is unable consciously attack with a view to kill because of some unknown defect, possibly arising from her status as one of the first third generation cyborgs, in her conditioning… a liability that three rewrites have been unable to erase. Despite this handicap, Victoria has proven her worth time and time again, specializing in capturing crucial targets alive and protecting vital V.I.P.s against threats.
Personality:
Victoria is a very focued and independent individual. Perhaps becuase her handler is such a douche, Victgoria has taken it upon herself to make sure her team doesn't become the most useless cyborg team in history. Despite her handicap, Victoria is largely successful in this regard. She is one of the more friendly cyborgs and one of the few 3rd Gens who openly associates herself with non-cyborg team personell.
Victoria will not obey a command to end the life of another human being no matter how much conditioning the scientists administer to her. This is part of a code of conduct Victoria has to follow without fail, something that supersedes even her conditioning. This ‘glitch’ is something that even she does not fully understand and Victoria is haunted by memories she cannot recall. While she does reason that unintentional fatalities are inevitavble, they still tear at her conscience. She will never intentionally kill another human being (Thanks Wileama). She regards this ability as a great annoyance as it prevents her from completing her objectives, but has nevertheless come to accept it.
Her relationship with her handler is quite odd. As long as Victoria completes her missions without fail, Nicholas allows her to manage her own time and training, which she does responsibly. In fact Victoria completes all the tasks that would normally be expected of her handler, from screening his mail to writing his reports.
She is a known practitioner of Gun-kata, one of the few reasons why she hasn't been kicked off the active roster. The details of how she came to kinow this art are classified.
